This has been a long time coming, that's for sure. Some of you may know me from The Velvet Bow, where I posted for three years before stopping mid last year. Well it turns out that the average person can change quite a bit in three years and I found it just wasn't me anymore so I called it quits without so much as an 'adieu'. Around six months after I stopped posting I started to find myself dreaming up post ideas and wishing for a fresh space to document my thoughts. So I decided to start again with lots of new ideas and inspirations, the perfect blank canvas.
So what's The Peach House going to be all about?
That's still a work in progress. Like the name suggests, it's going to be a lot about home life and interior design. We just bought a house, so I'm keen to talk about our adventures searching for the perfect place and the renovation process we are about to embark on. Then there's other things like fashion, food, life in Perth, health and goal setting that I am keen to write about. So it's a mixed bag that comes down to me trying to live my best life possible, and sharing glimpses into that as I go.
As a full time writer, sitting down at the end of the day to pen a post can be tricky - it was part of the reason The Velvet Bow fizzled out in the first place. So I am going to be aiming for quality, not quantity, to make sure this continues to be an escape rather than a chore. I am going to aim for three entries per week for now and see how I go.
